Bexley had lost 14 games on the road dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 4-10 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Franklin Heights Falcons 9-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-3 on April 2nd.
Isla Haffner was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Kayla Duffee also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
As for Franklin Heights, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss they have suffered since April 13, 2024.
On Franklin Heights' side, they got a massive performance out of Brianna Flores-Perez, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryleigh Daniel, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double.
