Northwest Yeshiva is 2-8 against Crosspoint since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Northwest Yeshiva Lions' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Crosspoint Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on December 13th. Northwest Yeshiva will be strutting in after a victory while Crosspoint will be coming in after a loss.
Even though Puget Sound Adventist scored an imposing 60 points on Monday, Northwest Yeshiva still came out on top. Northwest Yeshiva was the clear victor by a 82-60 margin over Puget Sound Adventist. That 82-60 margin sets a new team best for Northwest Yeshiva this season.
Northwest Yeshiva got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sam Weichbrodt out in front who scored 24 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Weichbrodt has scored at least 25% of Northwest Yeshiva's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Kaufthal, who scored 14 points along with six assists and four steals.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Crosspoint, who are still winless after their fourth match. They were beaten by Neah Bay 90-16 on Saturday.
Northwest Yeshiva's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Crosspoint, they bumped their record down to 0-4 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Northwest Yeshiva came up short against Crosspoint when the teams last played back in February, falling 60-52. Can Northwest Yeshiva avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
