Vista Ridge got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Daniel Mcfarland out in front who rushed for 100 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries. Those 100 rushing yards gave Mcfarland a new career-high. Another rusher making a difference was Malachi Arnds, who rushed for 108 yards and one TD on only five carries.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Vista Ridge's defense and their four sacks. Gabe Herman refused to say out of the backfield, picking up two sacks all by himself.
