Meanwhile, Brighton was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 45-44 to Tipton-Rosemark Academy. Brighton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The win got St. George's back to even at 2-2. As for Brighton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
St. George's beat Brighton 75-62 when the teams last played back in December of 2022. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Brighton's Jalen Terry, who scored 22 points along with 6 assists.
