In what's become a running theme this season, the Bishop Gorman Crusaders gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 64-31 win over Lucas Christian Academy at home. The win was familiar territory for Bishop Gorman who now have ten in a row.
Evan Thibodeaux had an outrageously good game as he went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points and 1 assist. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Beau Bender, who scored ten points.
Bishop Gorman pushed their record up to 27-4 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Lucas Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.
Bishop Gorman has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Yavneh Academy at 7:30 p.m. on February 8th. Yavneh Academy will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Bishop Gorman surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lucas Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Lakehill Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
