The Neuse Charter Cougars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Henderson Collegiate 64-11 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Neuse Charter has managed all season.
Leading Neuse Charter to victory were Cayley Cochran and Chloe Kozloff. Cochran scored 19 points along with five rebounds and five steals, while Kozloff scored 24 points along with six steals. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Cochran has scored at least 25% of Neuse Charter's points. Another player making a difference was Addyson Barefoot, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Neuse Charter's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Henderson Collegiate, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Neuse Charter will head out on the road to face off against Princeton at 6:00 p.m. on December 20th. Henderson Collegiate will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Eno River at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
