Meanwhile, Franklin struck out eight batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. North Valley Christian Academy's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-12. As for Anthem Prep, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-5.
