Volleyball Game Preview: Gray's Creek Bears vs. South Johnston Trojans

The Gray's Creek Bears will take on the South Johnston Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gray's Creek will be looking to extend their current 15-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Gray's Creek made easy work of Terry Sanford and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Gray's Creek took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-7.

Gray's Creek's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Khloe Terry led the charge by getting four aces and three digs. What's more, Terry racked up eight assists, the most she's had over her last seven matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Haylee Wells, who had five aces and four digs.

Gray's Creek's win bumped their record up to 19-2. As for South Johnston, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.
