The Redeemer Christian Lions and the Real Life Christian Academy Raptors will compete for holiday cheer at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Real Life Christian Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Redeemer Christian, who comes in off a win.

Redeemer Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 55-15 victory over Apopka Christian Academy. The win was some much needed relief for Redeemer Christian as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Redeemer Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Braelyn Galloway led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds. With that strong performance, Galloway is now averaging an impressive 2.5 steals per game. Ava Gibson was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.

Redeemer Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Real Life Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 46-12 loss at the hands of First Academy. The Raptors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-5.

Despite the loss, Real Life Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Yamaris Almonte posted six points.

Redeemer Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Real Life Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything came up roses for Redeemer Christian against Real Life Christian Academy when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 47-17 win.
