The Crisfield Crabbers will head out on the road to square off against the Pocomoke Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crisfield is hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses.
Crisfield suffered their biggest loss since December 7, 2023 on Tuesday. They were beaten by Snow Hill 93-52. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Crisfield in their matchups with Snow Hill: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, even though Washington scored an imposing 55 points on Thursday, Pocomoke still came out on top. Pocomoke secured a 59-55 W over Washington.
Pocomoke's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zymiere Walker led the charge by scoring eight points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ryan Smith, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Crisfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Pocomoke, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
Crisfield might still be hurting after the 83-58 loss they got from Pocomoke in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Pocomoke's Jamir Roberts, who dropped a triple-double on 25 points, ten assists, and ten steals. Now that Crisfield knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
