The Frostproof Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 20 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Lake Placid on Monday as Frostproof made off with a 74-54 victory. Winning may never get old, but Frostproof sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
It was another big night for Sevastian Rosado, who scored 41 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Frostproof's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Turral Berry, who scored eight points along with six assists.
Several Dragons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ezekiel Daley, who scored 17 points. The match was Daley's third in a row with at least ten points. Dj Bullard was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 16 rebounds and three blocks.
Even though they lost, Lake Placid were working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Frostproof only racked up 19 assists.
Frostproof now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lake Placid, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Frostproof will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Oasis Christian at 7:00 p.m. Oasis Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 623rd, while Frostproof is ranked 287th). As for Lake Placid, they will head out on the road to face off against Hardee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
