This season hasn't been kind to The Canyon Hills Rattlers , who are still winless after their ninth match. They took a hard 35-21 fall against San Diego on Saturday. The contest was a 21-21 toss-up at halftime, but Canyon Hills couldn't answer the 14 points San Diego scored afterwards.
Among those leading the charge was Jayden Wade, who picked up 74 receiving yards and two touchdowns. D'angelo Besikof made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Canyon Hills' defeat was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-10. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.9 points per game. As for San Diego, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canyon Hills will take on Kearny at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for San Diego, they will head out on the road to face off against Clairemont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
