Port Allegany hasn't had much luck against Coudersport recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Gators will head out on the road to challenge the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Port Allegany made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Kane, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Gators blew past the Wolves 18-8 on Friday. Considering the Gators have won three matches by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Bria Wilcox made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up six earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.
