Despite the loss, Franklin Central saw an underclassman step up: Ej Hazelett scored 19 points along with six assists and two steals. Dante Edwards was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.
Hamilton Southeastern has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Franklin Central, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Indiana (Carmel is ranked 20th, while Hamilton Southeastern is ranked 12th). As for Franklin Central, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Greenwood at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. Hopefully Franklin Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Thursday.
