The Gulfport Admirals lost against the Harrison Central Red Rebels back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Gulfport took a 57-39 bruising from Harrison Central. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Gulfport has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Harrison Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aujaylen Barron, who scored 19 points. Shaun Murray was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds.
Gulfport bumped their record down to 3-3 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Harrison Central, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Gulfport won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against West Harrison at 6:30 p.m. on December 9th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Mississippi (West Harrison is ranked 86th, while Gulfport is ranked 107th). As for Harrison Central, they will be playing at home against Biloxi at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Biloxi will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
