Leading Canisius to victory were Pat Benzer and Nick Purdie. Benzer scored ten points, while Purdie scored 14 points along with seven rebounds. Mark Macdonald was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Niagara Falls' loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Canisius, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.
Niagara Falls will head out on the road to take on the Griffins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Canisius, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. St. Francis will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 289th, while the Crusaders are ranked 12th).
