The Greenfield Knights are taking a road trip to face off against the Rocky Mount Academy Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenfield will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
On Thursday, Greenfield made easy work of Liberty Christian Academy and carried off a 15-1 win. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Heat recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Cianan Braundel was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Henry Thomas also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Greenfield was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .385 or higher in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Rocky Mount Academy got the win against Community Christian on Monday by a conclusive 12-4. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five contests by eight runs or more so far this season.
The team relied heavily on Kaiden Pulley, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Rocky Mount Academy is 4-1 when Pulley posts two or more runs, but 2-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Creech-Jones, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.
Greenfield's record is now 9-7. As for Rocky Mount Academy, their record now sits at 6-9.
Rocky Mount Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Greenfield hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .328. It's a different story for Rocky Mount Academy, though, as they've only averaged .255. Will they be able to contain Greenfield's hitters?
Greenfield skirted past Rocky Mount Academy 6-4 when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
