The Strawberry Crest Chargers will face off against the Newsome Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Strawberry Crest is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their matchup on Saturday with ease, bagging a 41-6 win over Sebring. Considering the Chargers have won eight games by more than 20 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

A big part of Strawberry Crest's victory came down to the chemistry between Zoe Surrency and her top target Sonnie Hartman. Surrency threw for 235 yards and five touchdowns while completing 77.3% of her passes while Hartman picked up 83 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. The dominant performance also gave Surrency a new career-high in passer rating (150.6).
Strawberry Crest didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Kate Hartman.
Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Newsome brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They claimed a resounding 40-7 win over Sickles. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Wolves' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.
Strawberry Crest better keep an eye on Sadie Avery. She was instrumental in Newsome's win, throwing for 215 yards and four TDs while completing 77.8% of her passes. Avery is becoming a predictor of the Wolves' success: when she posts at least three passing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 4-5 when she doesn't). Another player making a difference was Zolene Ansah, who picked up 69 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Newsome's defense and their five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Avery Michiels and Kensley Hiscock, who racked up four sacks between them. Chloe Clark got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Strawberry Crest has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.0 points on average over those games. As for Newsome, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.
Strawberry Crest took a serious blow against Newsome when the teams last played back in April of 2024, falling 27-0. Thankfully for the Chargers, Emma Clough (who threw for 223 yards and three touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
