The Liberty County Bulldogs stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They claimed a resounding 52-11 win over Altha on the road. Winning may never get old, but Liberty County sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Liberty County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gabriella Flowers out in front who scored 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Flowers has scored all season. Caleigh Peddie was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Liberty County pushed their record up to 13-2 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Altha, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty County on the road again on Monday and play against Port St. Joe at 5:00 p.m. on January 22nd. Hopefully Port St. Joe focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Thursday. As for Altha, they will head out on the road to take on Cottondale at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
