Hazel Green won the last time they faced Nolensville and things went their way on Friday too. The Trojans narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Knights 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Madeline French paced Hazel Green's offense, picking up seven kills. French got some help from Lily Nelson and her 18 assists. Aylah Duvall and Raegan White kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaycie Stitt, who had 11 digs and two aces. Avery Ethridge was another key player, getting 16 assists and six digs.

Hazel Green's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Nolensville, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Hazel Green has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Franklin on the 23rd. As for Nolensville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Clinton on the 23rd.
