Palo Verde was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They fell victim to a  rough 17-0 loss at the hands of the Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Palo Verde of the  15-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in April of 2023.
 For Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's part,  Christina Treiberg was  incredible,  going 5-for-5 with four  runs, two  stolen bases,  and three  doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hannah DeBake, who  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances.
 Palo Verde's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palo Verde will  take on Tombstone at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Tombstone is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 10.5  runs per game this season. As for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Gilbert Christian at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy  run totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Gilbert Christian likes a good challenge.
