Kennedy Columbus spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, Courtney Collins was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing six bases while going 4-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Pender Bechard, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Chazy pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.8 runs over those games. As for Moriah, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
