Archie Williams entered their tilt with San Rafael with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Archie Williams skirted past San Rafael 60-58. Given Archie Williams' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while San Rafael is ranked 612th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Archie Williams to victory, but perhaps none more so than Julian Nichol, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Brian Wright, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Tamalpais scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They blew past De Anza 85-59. Winning may never get old, but Tamalpais sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Archie Williams is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Tamalpais, their win bumped their record up to an identical 5-3.
Archie Williams came up short against Tamalpais when the teams last played back in January, falling 63-54. Can Archie Williams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
