Softball Recap: Notre Dame Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Notre Dame had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They never let the East Tartans get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. Considering the Titans have won 12 matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Notre Dame's victory bumped their record up to 18-2. As for East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Coming up, Notre Dame will take on Greenup County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Titans 2.2, the Musketeers 1.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for East, they will host Manchester at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
