Make it six blowout wins for the Trinity Prep Lions this season. They claimed a resounding 71-41 victory over Peachtree Academy at home. The win was just what Trinity Prep needed coming off of a 89-50 loss in their prior contest.
It was another big night for Shane Harvey, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Allan Ray IV, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Despite the loss, Peachtree Academy still got an impressive performance from Noah Rodriguez, who scored 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rodriguez has scored all season.
Peachtree Academy struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Trinity Prep racked up 19 assists.
Trinity Prep's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Peachtree Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
Trinity Prep and Lanier Christian Academy will face off at 8:00 p.m. on January 18th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Lanier Christian Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 302 points over their last four matches. As for Peachtree Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against HALO at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (HALO is ranked 525th, while Peachtree Academy is ranked 502nd).
