Ashley Falcone made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off ten hits (and not a single walk). Falcone was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and one double while going 3-for-4. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jenna Kraft, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and one triple. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Sarah Wood was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
