Volleyball Recap: Glendora Beats Diamond Bar for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Glendora extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Kaleia Zeits. The Tartans blew past the Diamond Bar Brahmas 3-0 on Monday with plenty of help from Zeits, who had 23 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 30 games she's played dating back to last season.

Glendora walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-15, 25-21.

Glendora got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lorelei Adams out in front who had seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces Adams has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Amelia Arzaga, who had nine assists and six digs.

Despite the loss, Diamond Bar still got an impressive performance from Ava Furumoto, who had 11 digs and two aces.

Glendora's win bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Diamond Bar, their defeat ended a nine-match streak of away wins and brought them to 21-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Glendora is set to challenge their familiar foe Claremont at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Diamond Bar will square off against rival Ayala at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
