Leading Moreau Catholic to victory were Kevin Chapman and Kareem Jackson Jr.. Chapman scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Jackson Jr. scored 16 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jackson Jr. has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Clendinen, who scored six points along with two steals.
Moreau Catholic's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.33 points. As for James Logan, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
Moreau Catholic won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Mission San Jose at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th. Mission San Jose will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 562nd, while Moreau Catholic is ranked 158th). As for James Logan, they will head out on the road to take on American at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. American is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 57.2 points per game.
