They were the clear victor by a 70-49 margin over Ray. Winning may never get old, but Desert Christian sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Desert Christian found their leader in underclassman Tyson Dobbins, who scored 28 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. The game was Dobbins' 14th in a row with at least ten points. Adam Valvala was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with eight assists and four steals.
Desert Christian is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Ray, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Desert Christian will take on Benson at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. As for Ray, they will head out on the road to face off against Duncan at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
