The Pottsgrove Falcons waltzed into Thursday's matchup with two straight wins but they left with three. They blew past Antietam 72-27 at home. Fans of Pottsgrove have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Despite the loss, Antietam had strong showings from Julious Williams, who scored 9 points along with 8 rebounds, and Andrew Marrero, who scored 6 points.
Pottsgrove's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Antietam, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Pottsgrove will head out on the road to face off against Tulpehocken at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Tulpehocken focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Thursday. As for Antietam, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kutztown at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
