Kittitas had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 16-run drubbing they dealt Cle Elum-Roslyn on Tuesday. The Coyotes were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the Warriors. Considering the Coyotes have won nine matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Kittitas has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Cle Elum-Roslyn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kittitas will take on Goldendale at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cle Elum-Roslyn, they will head out to challenge Cashmere at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least ten runs in their last five games.
