Henrietta moved up to 792 from 917 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 2A-2 Region II District 5. The Bearcats were able to move up by topping Quanah 35-22.
Henrietta made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,647 from 10,331. The advance stemmed from a 35-22 victory over the Indians last week.
5-foot-11 quarterback Caleb Swofford of Nocona is the league leader in passing yards this season with 459. He has also thrown 4 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Lane Peace. The Alvord star has 13 catches for 245 yards.
Byron West's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 35 points on Quanah.
