Attica is 0-10 against Riverton Parke since May of 2021 but things could change on Saturday. The Red Ramblers will look to defend their home field against the Panthers at 10:00 a.m. Attica is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
On Thursday, Attica got the win against Cissna Park by a conclusive 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Red Ramblers, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Jayce Larson was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI, one run, and one double. Tristen Miller was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Attica hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cissna Park struck out ten times.
Meanwhile, Riverton Parke suffered their biggest loss since March 30th on Thursday. They came up short against North Putnam, falling 9-3.
Collett Sanders was cooking despite his team's loss, earning two runs and five stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Blake Todd, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.
Riverton Parke's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Attica, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Saturday as neither team is afraid to steal. Attica has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Riverton Parke struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Attica might still be hurting after the 11-0 loss they got from Riverton Parke in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Can the Red Ramblers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
