The Hueneme Vikings scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 64-40 margin over Malibu. The victory was some much needed relief for Hueneme as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.
Hueneme got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Chris Juanillo out in front who scored 15 points along with eight assists and six rebounds. It was the first time this season that Juanillo posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Eric Lerma, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hueneme will take on the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Santa Paula has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 668 points over their last ten contests. As for Malibu, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Flashes at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th.
