When it comes to explaining why Bethesda Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kenzie Fulks. Despite the final result, she scored 23 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Fulks has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Jayla Ferguson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with four blocks.
Cascade's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chloe Smith, who scored 18 points. That's the first time this season that Smith scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilly Hall, who scored 13 points.
Bethesda Christian's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-5. As for Cascade, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
