River Valley dropped their record down to 5-14 on Thursday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell 6-2 to the Lancaster Flying Arrows. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Flying Arrows this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 on May 1st.

As for Lancaster, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-11. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games.

For Lancaster's part, their victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Wolf, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. Toay Ragatz was another, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Coming up, River Valley will head out on the road to take on Appleton West at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Lancaster, they will be playing at home against Potosi/Cassville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
