After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bolingbrook, Simeon was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Brooks Eagles 62-0. Given the Wolverines' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 149th, while the Eagles are ranked 444th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
Anthony Croom Jr. had an outrageously good game as he threw for 187 yards and four TDs on perfect 7-for-7 passing, and also rushed for 44 yards and one touchdown. Lovell Smith helped out on the ground, rushing for 85 yards and a rushing touchdown.
