Mitchell kept a clean sheet against Gulf on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over the Gulf Buccaneers. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won four matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Mitchell's victory bumped their record up to 5-3-1. As for Gulf, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-1-1 record.

Mitchell didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Wiregrass Ranch on the 12th. As for Gulf, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Hernando on the 13th.
