Baseball Game Preview: American Leadership Academy Eagles vs. Providence Hall Patriots

For the second straight game, American Leadership Academy will face off against Providence Hall. The Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Patriots at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

American Leadership Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over Providence Hall. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

American Leadership Academy's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gaige Morgan, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The Eagles are undefeated when Morgan posts two or more runs, but 1-13 otherwise. Ian Heaps was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

American Leadership Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Providence Hall, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-6.
