Miranda Biles made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Jamestown, their record now sits at 8-4.
Everything went Jamestown's way against Franklin when the teams last played back in April, as Jamestown made off with a 12-1 win.
