On Tuesday, Sterling was beaten by Exeter-Milligan/Friend 62-20. Sterling was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-14.
Wyatt Rathe was Sterling's leading scorer, having posted seven points.
Collin Kinney held things down on the boards with six rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Sterling and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Exeter-Milligan/Friend, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sterling will square off against Diller-Odell on Friday. Hopefully Diller-Odell focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Friday. Exeter-Milligan/Friend will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Sacred Heart.
