Colton have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Thursday they take on Summit at 7:00 PM. If the match is anything like the 40-47 finish from the last time they met, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.
Colton came within a touchdown against San Dimas two weeks ago, but wound up with a 14-21 loss. Colton got a solid performance out of senior Brennan Ramos, who rushed for 49 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout in their contest three weeks ago against Ayala, Summit were happy to find some success. Summit took down Sultana 27-10.
Summit's win lifted them to 2-3 while Colton's defeat dropped them down to 2-3. In Summit's win, senior Robert Eggleston picked up 41 yards on the ground and threw 1 TD and junior Darrin Thomas. We'll see if Colton have a strategy for dealing with them or if they lead their team to another successful outing.
