Yutan found their leader in underclassman Mylee Tichota, who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tichota has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jade Lewis, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Louisville has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Yutan, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home.
Louisville will take on the at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Yutan, they will head out on the road to face off against the Rockets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Syracuse will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Chieftains are ranked 25th).
