After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fergus, East Helena was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Lockwood LIONS. The win was some much needed relief for the Vigilantes as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.
East Helena had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 20-25, 25-23, 25-22, 15-13.
