Dalton entered their tilt with Brooklyn on Wednesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They never let the Hurricanes get on the board and left with a 21-0 win. Mei Simmons and Gracyn Gerry made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Simmons tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Gerry didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Simmons has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
