Queensbury dropped their record down to 5-7 on Monday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (3-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-6 on April 7th.
Queensbury got a good showing from Kaylee Heritage, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those zero hits allowed gave Heritage a new career-low.
On the hitting side, Queensbury saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mckenna Hazelton, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
As for South Glens Falls, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games.
