The Henderson Collegiate Pride won the last time they faced the Eno River Bobcats, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Henderson Collegiate had just enough and edged the Bobcats out 54-52.
Eno River's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Corey Amyot, who scored 12 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Wade Clough, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Henderson Collegiate has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Eno River, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
Henderson Collegiate will be playing in front of their home fans against the Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eno River, they will head out on the road to face off against the Flying Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Excelsior Classical Academy is on a seven-game streak of home losses, the Bobcats a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
