They enjoyed a cozy 61-47 victory over Parkway South. This was payback for Mehlville, who suffered a 57-53 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Despite the loss, Parkway South still got an impressive performance from Eddie Ahearn, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds. Ahearn has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played.
Mehlville's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Parkway South, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mehlville will face off against Pattonville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Parkway South's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lutheran South at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. Lutheran South is on a seven-game streak of home losses, Parkway South a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
