The Lehigh Christian Academy Mustangs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 67-53 victory over Salem Christian. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Lehigh Christian Academy has managed all season.
Jacob Lewis was his usual excellent self, shooting 6-for-10 from long range and dropping a double-double on 41 points and 13 rebounds. The game was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Gross, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Lehigh Christian Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Salem Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lehigh Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Notre Dame at 3:00 p.m. on December 21st. Notre Dame will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Salem Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lehigh Valley Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 16, 2024.
