After a string of four wins, Eisenhower's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northwest Grizzlies. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Grizzlies earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

While Eisenhower ultimately came up short, they really made Northwest work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 26-24.

Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 20-11. As for Northwest, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 25-6.

Coming up, Eisenhower will take on Haysville Campus in a tournament on Saturday. As for Northwest, they will be taking part in a tournament against Andover at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
